Meltem Özbek was born in 1983 in Izmir. She graduated from Istanbul Bilgi University International Relations Department in 2006. After completing her fashion design education in 2009 Istanbul Fashion Academy, she participated in the mixed runway show organized by Istanbul Fashion Academy.
Meltem Özbek participated at 2010 Koza Young Fashion Designers competition organized by ITKIB and won the first prize in leather category. After her Vakko Esmod journey, she did an internship at Bilsar Tekstil. Afterward, within the scope of the Istanbul Fashion Workshop project organized by the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, she was entitled to exhibit her collection at the Pure London Fair held in London in February 2012.
Özbek, who completed the Design Realization program at the London College of Fashion-Center for Fashion Enterprise in May 2012 with an ITKIB scholarship, started the process of creating her own brand identity during this period. Meltem Özbek still continues to reach fashion lovers with her unique sense of style and innovative designs.
