Zeynep Tosun, born in Istanbul, went to Istituto di Marangoni in Milan, Italy to study fashion design after studying business administration at university. At the same time she continues training during the summer while she did her internship in the summer of 2005 Derishow brand in Turkey.
During her education life, she took lessons in illustration, digital fashion, and mold and fashion history. After her graduation, she received a job offer from Alberta Ferretti in July 2006 and moved to Rimini, Italy. Then, in 2007, she returned to Turkey and competed in the Koza Young Fashion Designers Contest, placing third. During the same period, Tosun took part in Esin Maraşlıoğlu's Design Loft project.
She worked as a design assistant for Ece Ege, the founder and designer of the Dice Kayek brand, for a short time after completing the Design Loft project. In October 2008, she launched her own brand based on her education and industry experience. Zeynep Tosun brand has been designing haute couture and ready-to-wear collections since 2009.
Zeynep Tosun's first fashion show in Turkey was in 2009, and she launched her collections to the British fashion industry in 2011 at London Fashion Week. Its popularity caught the attention of famous faces, and Lady Gaga, Nicole Scherzinger, and Kate Hudson wore the Zeynep Tosun collection, among others. Many European publications, including British Vogue, Indian Vogue, British I-D, Vogue Italia, and Elle Italia, have used Tosun's collections in fashion shoots.
Tosun's collections have been sold in Beymen, Gizia Gate, Harvey Nichols, Midnight Express, Bilstore, Dolce & Gabbana Concept Store, 25 Park, Moda Operandi, Intermix, Wolf & Badger, and Sketch stores until now.
