Fashion Week Istanbul, with its roots going back to 2009 when the idea of organizing a fashion week in Istanbul was first born, continues to support and promote Turkish fashion and designers on a global scale. With long years of digitalization efforts ongoing at full steam even through the pandemic, FWI took place on digital platforms for three consecutive seasons. Now, FWI brings more than ten years of experience and expertise, enhanced with Istanbul’s rich cultural heritage and historical attraction, to present a hybrid program that includes physical venues and digital settings. FWI is ready and counting down to bringing the fashion industry together again and adding value to the industry.

At Soho House Istanbul, the venue sponsor of FWI, more than 20 designers and designer brands will present their collections to the fashion industry. The presentations will include fashion films celebrating the cinema and fashion disciplines, and various other creative events. All collection films will be streamed on the official website (fashionweek.istanbul) and other digital platforms during the fashion week. In addition to these activities, panel sessions and events will be held at different locations across the city. In these events, prominent speakers and leading industry figures will discuss various topics on the fashion agenda. The events will also enable Fashion Week Istanbul to shed light on the sector.

As always, Fashion Week Istanbul will drive the visibility and recognition of Turkish fashion globally with the support of international press and contribute to Turkey’s branding efforts. Several members of the fashion media and influencers will also be in Istanbul to follow the event in person.

Fashion Week Istanbul will open its doors on March 14 with a kick-off party at Soho House Istanbul and host leading figures from the fashion and art worlds in a night of music and entertainment. The event calendar will be announced soon and more information on FWI will be available on the website fashionweek.istanbul, in the official Instagram account @fwistanbul and with the hashtag #fwistanbul.

Fashion Week Istanbul (FWI) is organized by Istanbul Ready-Made Garment and Apparel Exporters’ Association (IHKIB) with the support of Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) under the leadership of the Turkish Ministry of Trade and in partnership with the Fashion Designers Association (MTD) and Istanbul Moda Academy (IMA).
