Selen Akyuz was born on 1990 and raised in Istanbul.After graduating from, Istanbul Fashion Academy ‘’Fashion design and technologies’’ undergraduate department, in 2014, she relocated to Milan, Italy to study master menswear design at İstituto Marangoni. She ,then worked for the prestigious menswear brands in Milan, such as Ermenegildo Zegna and Costume National.
In 2016, she returned to Turkey and worked for several Turkish brands as a designer, and collection consultant on menswear.After all, she grew confident to focus on developing her own personal aesthetic style in apparel, she established her self-titled menswear brand, in 2018. Since that day, she has been designing and producing her menswear collection and continues to design collections as a fashion design consultant.
Designing her collections with the "less is better" mentality, Selen Akyüz states that by focusing on durable products, she aims to create a timeless and versatile collection that slows the pace of fashion and keeps up with the demands of a modular wardrobe where pieces work together seamlessly.
For the first time in her career, she decided to design a womenswear collection in addition to menswear with the idea of , where men and women meet in common details, fabrics, forms and patterns, consists of natural and cotton-based fabrics and offers a wide color palette around the tones of nature.
